DREAMCATCHER 5-YEAR WARRANTY POLICY
We stand behind the rods we build – and we know you expect gear that performs. That’s why every DreamCatcher rod comes with a 5-year limited warranty against factory defects in materials or workmanship. We’ll always do our best to make things right when something’s not.

WHAT’S COVERED
Our warranty covers any structural failure caused by a manufacturing defect. That includes:
- Issues with materials or construction present at the time of production
- Reel seat separation if the adhesive didn’t bond properly
- Blank or ferrule separation caused by poor workmanship
WHAT’S NOT COVERED — AND WHY
We’re always here to help, but not every problem is a defect.
The most common issue we see? Broken rod tips.
And while we get that it’s frustrating, we want to explain why these aren’t covered by warranty.
Rod tips are built light and responsive – it’s what gives you that great sensitivity on the water. But because of that, they’re also more fragile than the rest of the rod. Tips can snap if:
- You high-stick the rod while fighting a fish
- It gets dropped, stepped on, or pinched in a car door
- It’s stored or transported without proper protection
These aren’t factory flaws — they’re just part of how real-world fishing (and physics) work. So while we can’t treat broken tips as a warranty issue, we still want to make it right:
If your tip breaks — no matter how it happened — you can purchase a replacement tip directly from our website at close to our manufacturing cost, plus a small shipping fee.
No markup. No long form to fill out. Just a fast, affordable way to get you back on the water.
HOW TO FILE A WARRANTY CLAIM
To start a claim, send us an email at info@dcfishing.shop with the following:
- Your order number
- Clear photos or videos of the issue
- A brief description of what happened
We’ll get back to you within 1–2 business days. If the issue is covered under warranty, we’ll send you a prepaid shipping label to return the rod. Once we receive it, we’ll repair or replace it for free.
If you have any questions at all, just reach out — we’re here to help.
